Melonsoft Sound Meter is an app that transforms any Android device into a virtual sound meter. A big plus is that its functions have been simplified as much as possible, making it easy to use.

Once we have been granted the required permissions (basically, access to the microphone), the handset will begin to capture all the ambient sounds and will display them in a graph featuring live results. It also displays the noise level in decibels and gives us an indicator for comparing the level to a range of sounds (whispering, normal conversation, city street noise...).

Meanwhile, the interface also shows us the maximum, minimum, and average decibels recorded. It also comes with a calibrator and light and dark themes for customizing the appearance of the screen. So, it is a simple tool but is efficient and very complete.
