In the first place, it takes into account the space signals sent from the satellites that orbit around the Earth. These devices take photos of our planet several times a day and send them to the corresponding institutions to analyze them. Furthermore, there are thousands of weather stations that study patterns all over the planet. Based on these observations, experts can carry out their forecasts and later check if they were right. Each agency makes its own predictions based on the data received from its satellites and stations, using their own formulas. Yandex gathers these forecasts and comes up with its own prediction.
