Dreamcast was the last console launched on the market by Sega, just before withdrawing from hardware manufacturing to focus all its attention on the development of video games. Despite not being a bad device, it failed trying to compete against PlayStation and Nintendo 64, but it left us great games that we can now recover with reicast.

reicast is a Dreamcast emulator for Android that allows you to play the games of the extinct Sega console on your smartphone. The application is at an early development stage and is still somewhat unstable, but it's expected to arrive on other platforms shortly. Whether this happens or not, we are closer to being able to enjoy the Dreamcast versions of games like Sonic Adventure, Virtua Fighter 3 o Grand Theft Auto 2 on our Android.

Despite Dreamcast's features, it didn't manage to stand up to Sony and Nintendo.
